Blue Yeti USB Microphone is popular with YouTubers and Bloggers for voiceover and other vocal recording. I’ve seen a few recommendations by musicians also. I bought this Blue Yeti at Amazon for $119.99. I chose the Red Satin Model. At the end of this video I briefly describe several of the other microphones that I researched before I decided to buy the Blue Yeti.
Other microphones I considered were the Rode NT-USB Microphone, the Blue Snowball USB Mic and the Blue Snowball ICE.
The Blue Yeti features a Triple Capsule Array that afford multiple recording pattern selection. There is a gain control and a headset plug-in with volume control. There is an indicator for recording / mute and the selector for the recording pattern.
My next Blue Yeti video will cover my recommended settings for various recording situations as well as recommended accessories for the Blue Yeti.
