In this video, we install the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card and review the software and applications included with it. We also look at the recommended settings for running StarCraft. The card is double‑width and occupies all available expansion space in my Acer system, but the installation goes smoothly with no issues. After the hardware install, we update the drivers directly from the NVIDIA website and install the latest version of the Aorus app from GIGABYTE.

The Auphonix 6 Inch Pop Filter for The Blue Yeti Microphone
As an Amazon Associate, techvideos.net/ earns from qualifying purchases. In this video, we install the Auphonix 6‑inch pop filter on a Blue Yeti microphone. We walk through the proper installation process, identify an issue encountered during setup, and compare audio recordings made with and without the pop filter. In audio recording, popping sounds often occur when pronouncing aspirated plosives. Pop filters are designed to reduce the energy of these sounds before they reach the microphone. Without a pop filter, recordings can suffer from clipping, which happens when the microphone is pushed beyond its intended input capacity.

Twitch Streaming – My Hardware, Software and Settings
As a relatively new Twitch streamer, I’ve recently put a lot of time and effort into refining my stream settings. While I’m far from an expert, I wanted to share my recent experiences in finding reliable settings that deliver solid performance. A major factor is your internet connection, which can significantly influence, and sometimes limit, the options available to you.
Upgrading My Streaming PC
My streaming PC has been a true workhorse. It’s a pre-built Acer i7‑7700 with 8 GB of RAM and several solid features. When I purchased it four years ago, I wasn’t streaming on Twitch yet. Now that I’m streaming more than 70 hours a month, it’s clearly time for an upgrade. In December, I upgraded the system to 16 GB of RAM, added a 256 GB M.2 boot drive, and installed a GTX 1050 graphics card. More recently, a generous viewer donated an RTX 2070 to the channel. In this video, I walk through the project of installing the new GPU along with a Corsair 550 W power supply with Beretta_HD, and I also share an unboxing of both components.
