Animation – Timelines and Sets – Examples from Published Videos
This presentation explores a short Halloween-themed video featuring a keyframed camera that creates an under-the-hood automobile perspective, along with two keyframed spotlights used to simulate headlights. We also highlight numerous examples of keyframed camera movement, vocal direction, and character physical performance. In addition, the video showcases mood lighting across several sets. The cast includes a vampire, mummy, witch, devil, spaceman, monster, glob, Viking, robot, and many other characters. 3 Creative Animation Effects for Muvizu Animators
New animators can creatively modify and expand upon these simple effects. We begin with the snow effect. In my short animation, a man crashes his car into a snowbank and then wanders around outside the vehicle, behaving as though he may have hit his head during the accident. Next is a project that highlights Muvizu’s image projection capability. My short video, titled Purple Swirl, is based on Muvizu’s ability to project an image using a spotlight. You can experiment with the built-in images provided in Muvizu or import your own custom images to create unique visual effects. Finally, we explore the Subway Effect. This effect uses a Super Wide Background available in Muvizu combined with an animated image. When a spotlight is shone through the image, it creates the illusion of a subway train passing by.
